Our story
From a small publishing effort to a privacy-first open-source movement, RedHead keeps evolving with the community.
2015
Founded by Matthew DaLuz as a book and comic publishing company.
2019-2020
Built the fan-made open-source project Vib-Ribbon+, shaping our modern open-source philosophy.
2024
RedHead relaunched with a renewed focus on transparent, community-powered technology.
2026
Incorporation documents prepared under Ontario's Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, with registration targeted by February 2026.
Governance
RedHead Industries is structured to operate without share capital and without the purpose of gain, ensuring resources serve the mission.
Non-profit purpose
- All resources are used to advance open-source and open research work.
- No income is paid out for personal benefit beyond what ONCA allows.
- On dissolution, assets go to similar non-profit organizations.
